Dr Gail Edwards of ‘Teddy Bear Club International Magazine’, a world renowned teddy bear restorer with over 25 years experience, is delighted to have taken up residence at the first and only teddy bear hospital in Cornwall.

Perfectly situated within the delightful collectors paradise ‘Bygones’, Gail will often be found working in the hospital, tending to her patients and working her magic on over-loved teds and their cuddly friends. Visitors are always welcome, and the bears do enjoy a friendly cuddle. As with the National Health Service there is a very long waiting list for full restorations and patients MUST be booked in prior to surgery, however, small repairs may be performed on an outpatient basis! Gail will also be happy to provide free identifications and valuations on any old bears that drop in.

There are a wide variety of rare antique and popular collectable teddies available for re-homing; including Gail’s own range of hand stitched one-of-a-kind artist bears. Teddy related items, dolls, dolls houses and accessories, die-cast toy cars, train sets, sci-fi collectables and other vintage toys are also available for sale.

Opening Hours
Monday - Saturday 10am - 4pm, although these hours can vary out of season.
