Having worked successfully as a full time potter since 1993, I decided it was time to achieve my lifelong ambition and open my own pottery studio.

As I am from St Just it seemed appropriate that I should establish the very first "St Just Pottery" here in my home, Blackbird Barn, in the town centre. I live and work here with my wife Karen and our cats Blossom and Bernard.

Since we opened at the beginning of 2005 I have really enjoyed meeting customers, both old and new, and have been creating lots of new work, some of which is completely different to anything I have made before.

We have a good sized gallery area as part of the studio where we display our work, Karen is a textile artist, see www.smarttart.co.uk. We share the large open workshop and when you visit you will always catch us in the middle of making something!
